Wu Liang

Wu Liang is a high altitude mountain range in the Jingdong area of Yunnan province, predominantly inhabited by the Yi minority people. Wu Liang translates to “towering into the clouds, immeasurable in the area.” High quality puerh and green tea come out of this area as well as “high mountain oolongs” known for their sturdiness and diang hong (black teas) known for their malty and non astringency qualities.
